Project 2: Africa 13.4.20 - 17.4.20 This half term we have been studying and reading stories about Africa. Below are a few creative ideas that you could look at over the Easter holidays: African tribal art - using cardboard, scrap paper etc. Coloured in with paint or felt tips or paper mache to create their own tribal mask. Lots of patterns could be created using things like bottle tops, lolly stick, buttons etc to stick on.  Learn Swahili words/phrases. Project 1: Easter 6.4.20 - 10.4.20

As it is the Easter holidays starting on Monday 6th April, daily work will not be set on the blog. Instead we will be putting on 2 projects for you to work do if you wish.  Project 1: Easter and Project 2: Africa.   Look forward to seeing your fantastic pieces of work. Project 1: Easter Project Writing task: You can choose one of these tasks to complete. Task 1: Design a poster explaining why people celebrate Easter.  Use the Easter story video below and photos as well as carrying out your own research too. https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/class-clips-video/religious-studies-ks1-the-christian-story-of-easter/zhgv47h or  Task 2:  Make your own acrostic poem using the word EASTER.                 Maths: Have a go at these fun maths activities: 1.        Colour by number. 2.       Roll, add and colour! Art: 1.       Design and colour you own Easter egg. Try and use different colours and patterns.
